The EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement (TCA) was agreed on 24 December 2020. It was adopted by the European Council and the UK Parliament and is now awaiting the adoption by the European Parliament.

Law Society of England and Wales published its first analysis and first impression of the EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement (TCA), both of which focus on legal services and potential implications for solicitors.

Law Society of Scotland published its preliminary analysis of the TCA focusing on legal services, digital trade, intellectual property, public procurement, level playing field and law enforcement and judicial cooperation in criminal matters, and also covers the Draft European Union (Future Relationship) Bill.
