On 29 November, 11 am CET, the Law Societry of England and Wales and the Brussels Office will hold a webinar on data sharing in the new UK and European environment.
The webinar will focus on practical aspects of cross-border data flows between the UK and other countries. To this end, the panellists will discuss the ICO consultation on the international data transfer agreement, new EU SCCs, and the DCMS consultation on the reform of the data protection regime. The event will also be an opportunity to shed light on the implications of these developments for future data flows regulation and trade, including the EU data adequacy decisions.
The discussion will be chaired by Andrew McWhir, Policy Adviser at the Law Society of England and Wales and the panellists are:
