Within the framework of the 37th session of the UN Human Rights Council, the Law Society of England and Wales joined two oral statements before the UN Special Rapporteur on Torture.
The first, on the situation of lawyers and judges in Turkey was heard on the 2 March 2018 during a side event at the Palais des Nations in Geneva and widely circulated at the Human Rights Council and can be found here.
